FAQ
-Can I buy your OG sand crab crankbait through this store?
No. Those can only be purchased when I do bait drops on Instagram or Facebook.
-Are there any tips on using the OG 1x or OG XL sand crabs?
Yes there are. The OG 1x is extremely small and it's meant to be used very close to shore when fish are feeding close in on sand crabs. After casting, let it sink. The light 1x models(close to 1/4 oz) slow sink and the heavy(close to 1/2 oz) 1x models are faster sink. When starting the retrieve, turn the reel handle painfully slow. You have to imagine these sand crabs and the way they actually move. When they're crawling in the sand, they only move maybe 1/2 inch per second, depending on how large they are.
OG 1x Retrieves and tips:
-A painfully slow constant retrieve
-A painfully slow stop and go retrieve
-Drag the 1x very slowly then reel in slack
-Cast it out and let it drift around in the water with the waves while reeling in any slack.
-If you feel you need to cast the 1x out further, tie it onto a Carolina rig with a sliding sinker of your choice.
OG XL Retrieves and tips:
-The OG XL sand crab is a 3" floating lure(A little over an ounce in weight) that has high buoyancy and because it's such a large lure for what it's imitating, you can fish it very aggressively and fast. Especially because you're targeting bigger fish. You'll feel the lure thumping on your line during your retrieve and it'll start digging into the sand once you get closer to shore.
-Slow constant retrieve, slow stop and go retrieve
-Normal speed constant retrieve, normal speed stop and go retrieve
-Very fast constant retrieve, very fast stop and go retrieve
